One of the deserts, so easy and quick to prepare is yogurt sponge. Served cold with some fruits aside, sprinkled with icing sugar. To make the sponge you will definitely need to go to any Polish shop, as the ingredients I use are available only there. The recipe below serves 2.
Ingredients:
1 packet of fruit jelly
1 glass of yogurt (flavour depends on the jelly’s flavour)
1 packet of vanilla sugar
1 table spoon of icing sugar
Fruits (depending on the general flavour)
Preparation:
Boil water, pour into a glass (250 ml) and add the powdered jelly. Stir well until dissolved. Then let it cool. Jelly MUSTN’T set.
Mix icing sugar, vanilla sugar and yogurt in a separate dish. Add finely chopped fruits.
When the jelly is cooled and starts to set, add it to yogurt and mix it all together using whisk.
Place in dessert bowls, cover with cling film and leave in the fridge for at least 2 hours.
Before serving, place dessert bowl in boiled water, so that jelly can come off the edges. Flip upside down and place on a big plate. Decorate with fruits, sprinkled with icing sugar and/or fruit syrup.
